Casey Miller, CEO of the Baltimore-based educational child care provider Kiddie Academy, has been appointed to the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center Advisory Board. The move deepens a formal partnership between the two organizations, following a $100,000 donation made by the company to the center’s child life department last year.
For its part, Kiddie Academy frames the partnership as an extension of its internal character education curriculum, which emphasizes community service. Since its founding in 1981, the Maryland-based franchise system has grown to include more than 375 locations nationwide. The Johns Hopkins Children's Center, a major pediatric hub, currently manages roughly 65,000 patient visits annually, balancing specialized clinical treatment with research and training for pediatric medical professionals.
