Accounting Tech Veteran David Wyle Joins Qount Board
David Wyle, the entrepreneur behind ePace! Software and SurePrep, has joined the board of directors at Qount. His appointment signals a strategic shift for the practice management firm as it looks to integrate artificial intelligence into the core workflows of accounting firms rather than merely layering on superficial features.
Qount CEO Pete Miele emphasized that Wyle’s expertise will guide the development of QAI, the platform's embedded intelligence layer. Unlike competitors focusing on chatbot-style additions, Qount aims to leverage the operational data already flowing through its systems to eliminate manual work. Wyle argues that the industry is currently undergoing a generational shift away from legacy systems, creating a necessity for platforms that integrate scheduling, billing, and engagement history into a single, learning environment. As a board member, Wyle will assist in refining product strategy to help larger firms overcome the friction caused by fragmented workflows and disconnected tools.
