Managing 300 million transactions annually across nearly 500 Australian locations, Hungry Jack’s has tapped Dallas-based Trintech to overhaul its financial operations. The restaurant chain is abandoning manual, spreadsheet-based reconciliation in favor of the software provider’s autonomous matching platform to gain better control over its complex payment landscape.
For Trintech, the deal represents a specialized application of its governance software within the high-volume quick-service sector. Claudia Pirko, VP & GM for APAC at Trintech, noted that the integration provides the chain with a foundation for future growth by automating reconciliation and strengthening oversight. This transition marks a significant departure from traditional accounting methods for the brand, which has operated its flame-grilled burger network in Australia for over five decades.
