The collaboration connects Omio’s multimodal search engine with Greyhound’s century-old infrastructure, covering high-traffic routes such as Melbourne-Sydney and Brisbane-Byron Bay. By centralizing these services, the Berlin-based booking firm aims to streamline cross-country travel for its daily user base of over 100,000 people. Facundo Viguie Aleman, CMO at Omio, noted that the move simplifies how users compare and book journeys across diverse Australian landscapes.

Omio adds Greyhound Australia to global booking platform
Travel platform Omio has integrated Greyhound Australia into its booking network, marking the company’s entry into its 48th country. This partnership grants travelers access to a coach system spanning 180 destinations, simplifying transit planning across major metropolitan hubs, coastal corridors, and regional outposts throughout the Australian mainland.

For Greyhound Australia, the integration serves as a bridge to a broader international audience. Renata Berglas, Head of Sales at the coach operator, emphasized the value of exposing their network to global travelers looking to explore the country. This expansion is a calculated step in Omio’s broader growth strategy, which targets operations in over 70 countries by 2028. Currently, the platform manages a supply chain of 3,000 transport partners, ranging from rail and bus lines to flight and ferry operators across six continents.
