Brent Hutto Joins Texas Trucking Association Board

As Texas cements its status as the largest market for Truck Parking Club, the company’s Chief Relationship Officer, Brent Hutto, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Texas Trucking Association. Hutto, who already chairs the association’s Truck Parking Committee, brings two decades of freight technology experience to the leadership role.

The Texas Trucking Association, founded in 1932, represents a broad spectrum of the industry, ranging from independent family fleets to Fortune 500 carriers. As a board member, Hutto will help oversee the organization's annual budget and policy initiatives. His appointment arrives as the state faces a critical shortage of secure, accessible parking for commercial drivers.

"Every parking conversation in this industry eventually becomes a conversation about Texas," Hutto said, noting the high concentration of freight and drivers in the region. TXTA President and CEO John D. Esparza cited Hutto’s specific expertise in parking infrastructure as a key asset for the board's future advocacy work. Truck Parking Club currently operates over 700 locations in Texas, offering nearly 14,000 parking and storage spaces. Nationwide, the company manages more than 6,200 sites and aims to reach 10,000 locations by the end of 2026.
