Daytona Beach Expansion: New Hotels and Dining Venues for 2026

The local hospitality landscape is expanding with several high-profile additions. Before the year concludes, the 137-room Residence Inn by Marriott in Ormond Beach and the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Daytona Beach are both slated to open, catering to extended-stay travelers. Simultaneously, Casa Del Mar is set to reopen under the Hilton Grand Vacations brand following comprehensive interior renovations, while the Drury Plaza Hotel Daytona Speedway is currently under construction for a 2027 debut.

Dining options are also evolving across the region. Historic establishments like Billy's Tap Room in Ormond Beach have reopened following renovations, while the ONE DAYTONA complex continues to attract new tenants including Tiano's Wine Bar and Deli, Grain & Berry, and Pink FRYDAY. Further expansion includes the relocation of Mr. Dunderbak's Bavarian Restaurant to downtown Daytona Beach and the arrival of a White Castle on LPGA Boulevard.

Beyond lodging and dining, public infrastructure is receiving major investment. The Jackie Robinson Ballpark has completed a modernization project to improve player and fan facilities, maintaining its status as a National Commemorative Site. Additionally, the Ocean Center is currently undergoing a $40 million renovation, featuring upgrades to its arena seating, LED lighting, and sound systems to better accommodate large-scale conventions and entertainment events.
