Fullglass Education Integrates Interactive Tools with OpenStax

Faculty using OpenStax open educational resources can now port their textbooks directly into the Fullglass platform, transforming static content into interactive courseware. This partnership aims to bridge the gap between free, high-quality academic materials and the digital tools required to boost student engagement and accessibility within campus learning systems.

The collaboration allows educators to convert existing OpenStax titles into dynamic modules featuring integrated quizzes, flashcards, and discussion boards. By automating the transition from traditional PDFs or open-source files to interactive formats, the platform reduces administrative setup for instructors while preserving the low-cost nature of the original OER materials.

Fullglass Education CEO Greg Fenton emphasized that the platform is engineered to meet WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards, a critical requirement for modern institutional compliance. The system bridges the gap between independent learning resources and campus-wide Learning Management Systems, ensuring that digital courseware remains both functional and accessible to all students. Institutions can now leverage these tools to maintain cost-effective education models without sacrificing the technological features typically found in proprietary, high-priced courseware.
