Tim Hsu joins the firm in San Francisco after a tenure at Oaktree Capital, where he managed institutional capital formation across the Western U.S. His background also includes a position within BlackRock’s Institutional Business Development team. Based in New York, Chris Todisco arrives from Schroders Capital, bringing experience in direct lending, asset-based lending, and structured credit. His previous career includes a seven-year stint at First Eagle Investments following its acquisition of THL Credit.

Jordan Peer Griffin, Global Head of the Capital Formation Group, noted that the recruits will provide regional coverage and expertise to support the expansion of the firm’s credit offerings. With $75 billion in equity capital under management, H.I.G. continues to scale its outreach efforts. These additions follow the firm’s broader strategy of targeting middle-market companies through debt and equity financing, a practice they have maintained since their founding in 1993.
