Tampa Inventor Designs Device to Simplify Dressing

A Tampa-based inventor has developed a patent-pending tool dubbed PANTS-ON, designed to assist individuals with limited mobility in putting on underwear and trousers. The device allows users to pull clothing into position independently, eliminating the need for external assistance while ensuring garments remain free of damage during the process.

The invention targets a broad demographic, including the elderly, children, and those recovering from injury or struggling with restricted movement in their legs or feet. By streamlining the physical mechanics of dressing, the device serves as a practical solution for maintaining personal autonomy in daily routines.

Currently, a functional prototype exists, and the concept is being managed by InventHelp’s Tallahassee office. The company is actively seeking manufacturers or marketers interested in licensing or purchasing the rights to the design. Further details regarding the product, designated as Dept. 25-TLS-1420, are available through InventHelp’s headquarters in Pittsburgh.
