The centerpiece of this year's rollout is the Everest VS-18, a variable-speed unit engineered specifically for high-heat climates. By continuously modulating cooling output, the system minimizes temperature fluctuations while utilizing soft-start technology to reduce power spikes. Alongside this flagship model, Airxcel is expanding its VS Series with the VS-14 Heat Pump and a slim-profile variant, broadening the availability of precision climate control to a wider array of vehicle layouts.

Airxcel Expands Coleman-Mach Cooling Range at Elkhart Showcase
Inside an Elkhart showroom, Airxcel is debuting its latest climate control technology, marking the 13th year of its industry-focused product showcase. The company is leaning heavily into variable-speed air conditioning, aiming to push residential-grade comfort and efficiency into the competitive recreational vehicle market through its Coleman-Mach brand.

Beyond high-end variable units, the company introduced the C-Series, a line of rooftop air conditioners available in multiple profiles to simplify installation for original equipment manufacturers. Anthony Wollschlager, President and CEO of Airxcel, noted that these developments reflect a shift toward smarter vehicle integration. As consumer demand for quieter, more efficient systems grows, these components provide manufacturers with the flexibility to design cabins that better mimic the performance of residential HVAC systems.
