The exhibition runs through October 18, 2026, offering families a mix of amusement rides and light-based art. Among the new additions this season are a 25-foot Volcano Bounce inflatable and an illuminated Octopus DJ booth complete with an LED dance floor. Founder and CEO Xiaoyi Chen noted that the event aims to refresh the experience for returning visitors by blending light art with themed prehistoric adventures.

LuminoCity Dino Safari Returns to Huntington Station
Nearly three acres of the Walt Whitman Shops will transform into an illuminated prehistoric landscape when the LuminoCity Dino Safari opens on September 2. The event, marking the festival’s fourth year at this Huntington Station location, brings over 70 animatronic, life-size dinosaurs and interactive light displays to Long Island.

Beyond the primary displays, the festival incorporates specialized programming, including story nights hosted with the Huntington Public Library and seasonal Halloween-themed activities. Guests can explore the grounds at 160 Walt Whitman Road throughout the week, with the park operating Wednesday through Monday. Tickets are currently available online, with a 20% discount offered for early bird purchases made before September 1.
