Eli Lilly and Boston-based biotech startup Amplitude Therapeutics have signed a strategic licensing agreement to develop trans-amplifying RNA vaccines. The partnership focuses on high-need infectious diseases, combining Amplitude’s modular RNA technology with Lilly’s global infrastructure to refine antigen design and lower effective dosage requirements.
Dr. Cory Sago, CEO of Amplitude, described the agreement as a validation milestone for the company’s in vivo RNA platform.
