Hearth & Home Technologies Launches Allusion Heritage Electric Fireplace

Designed to mimic the proportions of traditional gas units, the new Heat & Glo Allusion Heritage fireplace offers builders and homeowners a vent-free alternative. The model, which debuted in Lakeville, Minnesota, aims to bridge the gap between high-end aesthetic presence and the simplified installation requirements of modern electric heating systems.

The Allusion Heritage arrives in 42-inch and 36-inch widths, specifically engineered to fit standard framing dimensions for both new construction and renovation projects. By moving away from the need for external venting, the unit allows for placement in open floor plans where traditional masonry might be impractical. Sarah Lien, Vice President of Marketing at Hearth & Home Technologies, noted that the product’s scale and customization options are intended to set a new standard for the electric fireplace market.

Personalization remains the primary draw of the new line. Users can cycle through nine distinct flame styles and over 13 ember bed color options, allowing the fireplace to shift from a classic hearth appearance to a minimalist glow. The unit provides up to 10,000 BTU/Hr of heat output and supports both 120V plug-in and 240V direct-wired configurations. This flexibility ensures that the appliance can adapt to evolving design visions without requiring the replacement of the core hardware.
