AGCO Brings Fendt and Massey Ferguson Machinery to American Farming 2

From the physical fields of Iowa to the digital screens of mobile gamers, the line between agriculture and entertainment is blurring. AGCO Corporation announced that its Fendt and Massey Ferguson equipment brands will debut in the upcoming mobile simulation game American Farming 2, launching globally on August 24.

Developed by Central Iowa-based SquadBuilt, the game offers players a virtual look at modern agriculture. The integration features digital replicas of heavy machinery, including Fendt 1038, 1046, and 1050 tractors, alongside Massey Ferguson’s MF8130, MF8140, and MF8150 models. According to the company, these machines are designed to mimic real-world performance, allowing users to handle tasks ranging from planting and harvesting to livestock management.

For AGCO, this partnership is a tactical move to reach a demographic that spans lifelong farmers and casual digital consumers. Brandon Montgomery, Senior Brand Manager for Fendt North America, noted that the game serves as a hands-on introduction to modern farming technology for non-farmers, while providing familiar equipment for those already working the land. SquadBuilt owner Grant Hilbert, a first-generation farmer turned content creator, emphasized that the collaboration aims to provide an authentic look at the industry. The game will be available as a free download on the App Store and Google Play, with physical displays of the equipment scheduled for the Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa, this September.
