inFlow Inventory brings enterprise-grade batch tracking to small firms
Toronto-based inFlow Inventory is rolling out lot number and expiry date tracking, aiming to replace manual spreadsheets for small-scale manufacturers. By offering batch-level traceability across production and sales, the company seeks to provide capabilities typically reserved for expensive enterprise resource planning systems at a fraction of the cost.

The new functionality allows businesses to track a batch from initial receipt to final customer delivery, automating shelf-life monitoring and the "first-expired-first-out" shipping process. Beyond basic tracking, the system integrates GS1 barcode support and allows for the simultaneous monitoring of serial numbers and batch codes. These tools are now available across the company’s web, manufacturing, and mobile platforms, with no additional fees for current subscribers on mid-size plans or higher.
