SyberJet SJ30-2 Shatters Transcontinental Speed Record
A SyberJet SJ30-2 light jet completed a nonstop flight from Jacksonville to San Diego in four hours and seven minutes, clocking an average speed of 505.3 mph. The flight effectively dismantled a 13-year-old transcontinental record by a 48% margin, pending formal certification from aviation authorities.

Following the flight, Milton credited the performance to the dedicated support of his mechanics and staff. The SJ30-2 serves as the current flagship for the Chandler-based manufacturer, acting as the engineering foundation for the company’s forthcoming SJ36 model. The aircraft is slated for public display at the upcoming NBAA-BACE 2026 event at Henderson Executive Airport, where the company plans to debut its next-generation platform.
