United Vein & Vascular Centers Expands With New St. Petersburg Clinic

The new clinic offers a full suite of services, ranging from initial screenings to minimally invasive procedures. By establishing a presence in St. Petersburg, the network seeks to integrate medical care into the routines of local residents who previously traveled across Tampa Bay for evaluations. The site is positioned to serve individuals from surrounding communities, including Treasure Island, Gulfport, and Seminole.

Board-certified surgeon Dr. Romina Deldar leads the clinical team. Her approach focuses on evaluating both physical symptoms—such as aching, swelling, or heaviness—and the underlying vascular anatomy. The diagnostic process often begins with a conversation about daily habits and potential discomfort, followed by ultrasound imaging to identify issues like chronic venous insufficiency or venous reflux. Because vein disease manifests differently in every patient, the team tailors treatment plans to individual needs, which may include radiofrequency ablation, VenaSeal, or ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy.

This expansion marks the eighth UVVC location in the Tampa Bay region and the 15th throughout Florida. The organization operates more than 60 clinics nationwide, emphasizing outpatient care that avoids the need for hospital-based stays. Appointments are currently available for those looking to address persistent leg discomfort or visible vein changes.
