SainSmart Debuts Genmitsu PRONAX Series with Integrated ATC

The PRONAX lineup targets makers and small-scale manufacturers who require higher throughput and repeatable accuracy. Both the 600 x 900 mm Spark and the 800 x 800 mm Forge utilize a 2.2kW air-cooled spindle, closed-loop NEMA24 motors, and heavy-duty ball screws on all axes. By shifting from manual bit swaps to the NAX5 automatic tool changer, shops can now sequence roughing, profiling, and finishing passes in one continuous, automated cycle.

SainSmart has engineered the NAX5 as a proprietary five-slot system that manages length compensation and tool identification through a dedicated RS-485 connection. Unlike generic add-ons, this ecosystem is integrated directly into the machine's firmware. The units remain accessible to existing users by retaining compatibility with standard GRBL-based software like Candle, Easel, and UGS. Each package ships as a complete production suite, including ER20 collets, a Z-probe, and a starter set of end mills, aiming to bridge the gap between hobbyist routers and expensive industrial machinery.
