The platform functions as an agentic AI, meaning it is engineered to execute complex sequences—from initial intake to quote-to-bind processes—rather than performing isolated steps. By automating policy changes, renewal preparation, and routine follow-ups, Millie aims to reduce the administrative burden on service teams. While the software handles operational coordination, Mavrix emphasizes that critical underwriting and claims decisions remain under the purview of licensed human agents and carriers.

Mavrix Insurance Launches Millie AI to Automate Brokerage Workflows
Mavrix Insurance Services has unveiled Millie, a proprietary AI platform designed to manage administrative and service-related tasks for independent brokers. Unlike single-function automation tools, the system coordinates interconnected workflows across the entire brokerage lifecycle, allowing agents to prioritize client relationships and business development over manual paperwork.

Developed in partnership with the AI firm Crux, the platform reflects a strategic shift in how Mavrix approaches operational friction. CEO Leticia Treviño, who previously served as COO of Heffernan Insurance Brokers, oversaw the development of the tool to ensure it aligns with the realities of brokerage operations. According to Toni Francis, VP of Operations, the system is designed to support service teams directly, resulting in faster turnaround times and fewer coverage gaps for clients. The company maintains that the value of such technology lies in its ability to support the human-centric nature of the insurance industry, rather than attempting to replace professional judgment.
