Enbridge Expands Permian Footprint with $600 Million Acquisition

The deal secures approximately 500 miles of gathering infrastructure within the Delaware Basin, including full ownership of the Orla and Wink North systems and a 50% stake in the Delaware Crossing system. These assets serve over 20 producers and hold long-term contracts with a remaining life averaging 10 years, providing a predictable revenue stream for the Canadian energy giant.

With a combined throughput capacity of 420,000 barrels per day, the acquisition allows Enbridge to integrate its wellhead-to-water strategy. The gathered crude will feed into long-haul pipelines, including the Gray Oak system, ultimately reaching the Enbridge Ingleside Energy Center. Colin Gruending, executive vice president of Enbridge Liquids Pipelines, noted that the platform creates a more robust value chain by connecting production directly to export markets. The transaction is expected to close later in 2026, pending customary regulatory approvals.
