The Mumbai-based pharmaceutical giant reported that renewable energy now accounts for 41% of its total consumption. Alongside its environmental gains, the firm demonstrated operational reliability by completing 38 regulatory inspections, notably securing three USFDA audits with zero Official Action Indicated (OAI) observations. These results reflect the company’s ongoing efforts to harmonize stringent quality standards with its Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)-approved roadmap.

Beyond environmental and quality metrics, the company continues to invest in long-term infrastructure and social impact. This includes a US$90 million capital commitment to expand advanced therapeutics capabilities at its Lexington and Riverview facilities. Furthermore, the organization allocated ₹8.98 crore toward corporate social responsibility initiatives, reaching 1.8 million people across 112 Aspirational Districts. Chairperson Nandini Piramal emphasized that these investments serve as a catalyst for resilience, positioning the firm to navigate global market demands while maintaining a focus on digital transformation and inclusive workforce development.
