Avelo Airlines Extends Booking Window Through April 2027

Travelers can now book flights through April 20, 2027, as Avelo Airlines expands its reservation calendar. With one-way fares starting at $42, the carrier is positioning its network of 37 destinations for spring break planning, emphasizing convenience across its footprint of smaller, regional airports throughout the United States.

Trevor Yealy, the airline's head of network and revenue, indicated the extension is designed to provide passengers with more lead time for spontaneous trips and seasonal planning. The schedule covers routes ranging from Puerto Rico to major metropolitan hubs, including new service points like McKinney National Airport in Texas, which joins the network this November.

Since its 2021 launch, the carrier has focused on a model that bypasses major congestion by utilizing secondary airports. The airline currently operates a fleet of 16 Boeing 737s, with plans to integrate the Embraer 195-E2 into its rotation by 2028. Beyond basic transit, the company continues to push its Avelo PLUS membership and a branded Mastercard, both of which offer perks like priority boarding and fee waivers for passengers traveling in groups. While base fares are priced competitively, the airline maintains a tiered structure where additional costs for baggage and seat assignments remain subject to standard contract terms.
