The company’s trajectory began with a frustration over leaking, unreliable plumbing in traditional hot tubs. Founder David Ludlow, leveraging his experience servicing his father’s pool business, developed the JetPak Therapy System. By placing jets and plumbing into modular, interchangeable seat backs, he created a design that allowed users to customize their hydromassage experience. This innovation served as the technical foundation for the firm’s rapid expansion.
After securing its first patents and safety certifications in 1997, the company steadily scaled its operations. By 2003, it had outgrown its original footprint, leading to a move into a specialized facility in Bluffdale. The growth continued through the launch of the M Series in 2020 and the subsequent move to a 286,000-square-foot facility in Herriman. Diversification followed, with the company entering the swim spa market in 2022 and expanding its reach into European territories by 2025.
