Kroger Launches National Wellness Tour Across U.S. Grocery Stores

Beginning in September, The Kroger Co. is deploying a nationwide wellness initiative designed to integrate health resources directly into the grocery shopping experience. The program features weekend in-store consultations with pharmacists and dietitians, alongside four regional community festivals aimed at promoting healthier lifestyle choices for local shoppers.

Kroger Launches National Wellness Tour Across U.S. Grocery Stores

Throughout the month, participating Kroger Family of Stores locations will host recurring activations every Friday and Saturday. These sessions provide customers with opportunities to sample better-for-you products, receive nutrition guidance, and engage with Kroger Health experts to simplify wellness routines. The effort highlights the company's OptUP® nutritional tools, which categorize products based on health criteria to assist shoppers in navigating aisles.

Beyond standard store visits, the tour expands into four designated markets with community mini-fest events. These gatherings, scheduled for Nashville, Houston, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City, include live cooking demonstrations, fitness activities, and workshops. Colleen Lindholz, president of Kroger Health, stated that the initiative aims to meet families within their existing routines to facilitate accessible steps toward improved well-being. Residents can visit specific locations in Clarksville, Tennessee; Montgomery, Texas; Gilbert, Arizona; and West Jordan, Utah, to participate in these localized events.
