SWI Group joins NVIDIA partner network to scale AI infrastructure
Amsterdam-based investment firm SWI Group has secured Preferred Partner status within the NVIDIA Cloud Partner program, marking a strategic pivot toward becoming a vertically integrated AI infrastructure provider. The move grants the company access to proprietary reference architectures to power its expanding global data center network.
"SWI Group takes another step in its journey to becoming a fully vertically integrated global AI player: first came land, power, shell; now chips, tokens and applications," said CEO Max-Hervé George. The company currently manages a 3.6-gigawatt power portfolio across Europe and the US. This includes the 1.3-gigawatt SWI Digital operation in the United States and the 2.3-gigawatt AiOnX portfolio spanning Ireland, the UK, Spain, Denmark, and Italy. The firm’s growth strategy remains aggressive, recently bolstered by a 693.9 million dollar joint venture between its Varia US subsidiary and Brookfield Asset Management.
