Construction Partners Acquires Oklahoma Asphalt Supplier
Construction Partners, Inc. has expanded its infrastructure footprint in the Sunbelt by acquiring Ardmore-based Asphalt Express Enterprises. The deal integrates a critical liquid asphalt supply chain and hauling network into the company’s existing Oklahoma and North Texas operations, providing a strategic base for future terminal development.
Fred J. Smith, III, president and CEO of CPI, noted that the move is designed to strengthen vertical integration and secure a reliable supply of asphalt. The Ardmore site is slated for transformation into a full-scale liquid asphalt terminal, a project intended to increase sourcing flexibility and support ongoing growth in local road and infrastructure markets.
