Investors Face September Deadline in Capricor Therapeutics Lawsuit

Investors who purchased Capricor Therapeutics securities between December 17, 2025, and July 26, 2026, have until September 28, 2026, to move the court to serve as lead plaintiff in an ongoing class action lawsuit alleging securities fraud against the biotechnology company.

Investors Face September Deadline in Capricor Therapeutics Lawsuit

The lawsuit alleges that Capricor misled shareholders regarding its lead cell therapy candidate, Deramiocel. Specifically, the complaint claims the company altered its pre-specified statistical analysis plan for clinical data without prior FDA agreement before resubmitting its Biologics License Application. This omission allegedly created significant undisclosed risks regarding the drug's regulatory approval for treating Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Rosen Law Firm, which is representing the interests of affected shareholders, asserts that these misleading statements inflated the company's valuation before the truth reached the market. Investors interested in participating in the litigation or seeking further information may contact Phillip Kim at the firm via phone or through their online portal. No class has been formally certified at this stage, meaning investors retain the right to select their own counsel or remain absent class members without taking immediate action.
