The airline plans to launch service to Orlando International Airport on February 10, 2027, followed by flights to Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers on February 11. To support the expansion, Allegiant is also boosting flight frequency on its current routes from Flint to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport and St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport, providing more flexible scheduling for vacationers.

Allegiant Expands Michigan-Florida Links with New Flint Routes
Travelers in Mid-Michigan will gain direct, year-round access to Orlando and Fort Myers starting in February 2027, as Allegiant Travel Company bolsters its presence at Flint Bishop International Airport with two new nonstop routes and increased frequency on existing Florida service.
Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer, noted that the move reflects a strategy of linking mid-sized markets to high-demand leisure destinations. Nino Sapone, CEO of Flint Bishop International Airport, described the expansion as a significant investment in the regional hub. To mark the announcement, the airline is offering introductory one-way fares as low as $69 for the new routes, provided tickets are purchased by September 2, 2026.
