Mech-Mind Robotics Hits Hong Kong Exchange in Embodied AI Milestone

The company, founded in 2016, distinguishes itself by focusing on intelligent components rather than manufacturing robots themselves. Its product suite integrates Mech-Eye industrial 3D cameras for perception, Mech-GPT multimodal large models for decision-making, and Mech-Hand dexterous systems for physical execution. This specialized approach has captured a 22.1% share of the global AI-guided intelligent robot component market as of 2025, with shipment volumes currently outpacing the combined total of its four closest competitors.

Global adoption has scaled rapidly, with over 29,000 units deployed across more than 50 industrial scenarios. The client roster includes Fortune Global 500 heavyweights such as CATL, BYD, Midea, and Foxconn. Shao Tianlan, CEO of Mech-Mind, attributed this growth to sustained investment in product reliability and global service capabilities. Alex Zhou, Managing Partner at Qiming Venture Partners, noted that the firm’s 2019 investment was predicated on the potential of physical AI, which has since transitioned from a nascent concept into an industrial reality. With this IPO, Mech-Mind positions itself as a central infrastructure provider for the next generation of general-purpose embodied intelligence.
