DataAgent Launches Autonomous Remediation Platform with $10M Funding

The funding round, led by MizMaa Ventures and Alicorn Venture Partners, will accelerate the company’s expansion into North America. Founded by Ishay Yaari and Nati Shalom—veterans of the Dell-acquired cloud firm Cloudify—DataAgent introduces a self-healing infrastructure model. Unlike legacy tools that require engineers to manually investigate alerts after shipping telemetry data to a vendor, DataAgent identifies and fixes faults locally within the customer's Kubernetes environment. This approach allows organizations to retain control over their logs and metrics while bypassing the ballooning costs associated with external data ingestion.

By operating as a lightweight overlay rather than a complete replacement for existing monitoring stacks, the platform targets the 17% of infrastructure budgets currently consumed by observability. The system uses continuous reinforcement learning to identify failure modes, executing automated fixes such as scaling or rolling back workloads. The company’s strategy centers on restoring system health before performing root-cause analysis, promising a drastic reduction in mean-time-to-resolution. With an open-source agent model, DataAgent seeks to lower the barrier for enterprise adoption while positioning autonomous remediation as a fundamental architectural shift in software reliability.
