McLain joined the firm in 2025, previously serving as vice president and general counsel for the Andersen Division. Her promotion places her in charge of the company’s legal strategy and operations, a role CEO Chris Galvin described as a natural progression for a leader who has quickly earned internal trust. Before her tenure at Andersen, McLain held the position of associate general counsel at Cargill and worked as a litigation senior associate at Robins Kaplan LLP. Her background also includes a clerkship with Chief Judge Michael Davis of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.

Kelly McLain Named Chief Legal Officer at Andersen Corporation
After more than 30 years of service, Andrea Nordaune is stepping down from her role as senior vice president and chief legal officer at Andersen Corporation. The Bayport-based window and door manufacturer has appointed Kelly McLain to lead its enterprise legal function and join the company's executive committee effective this September.

Nordaune, who leaves behind a three-decade legacy, is credited with building the company's legal organization from the ground up. Galvin praised her contributions to the firm’s growth, noting that her career was defined by integrity and sound judgment. McLain, a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, will now assume responsibility for navigating the legal complexities facing the North American manufacturer as it continues its operations across the continent and Europe.
