Flotek Industries Faces Class Action Over Alleged Misleading Disclosures

A federal class action lawsuit has been filed against Flotek Industries, Inc., accusing the company and its executives of misleading investors regarding the viability of a major power generation project. The litigation centers on claims that the firm failed to disclose significant risks tied to the PREPA contract.

The complaint targets trading activity between August 3 and August 17, 2026. According to the filing by Bronstein, Gewirtz & Grossman, LLC, Flotek allegedly issued false statements concerning the financial capacity and organizational experience of the consortium partners involved in the project. These omissions, the suit claims, left shareholders without a clear picture of the risks threatening the realization of anticipated revenues.

Investors who incurred losses during the identified window have until October 26, 2026, to petition the court for lead plaintiff status. While the law firm is soliciting participants for the action, they emphasize that individual investors are not required to serve as lead plaintiffs to remain eligible for a potential recovery. The firm operates on a contingency fee basis, seeking reimbursement for expenses and legal costs only in the event of a successful outcome.
