The theater chain decided to expand the program following a surge of support during initial screenings held across Tennessee. Fans can catch Steel Magnolias on September 4, 6, and 8, while The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas is scheduled for September 5, 7, and 9. The initiative spans 35 states and Washington, D.C., marking a significant scale-up for the charitable project.

Vikki Neil, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Regal, noted that because the company is headquartered in East Tennessee, the partnership feels like a local endeavor extended to a national stage. Since its inception in 1995, Parton’s Imagination Library has grown into an international effort, currently delivering a free book every month to one in six children under the age of five in the United States. Jeff Conyers, President of The Dollywood Foundation, emphasized that the program is designed to create lasting impact rather than simply serving as a historical archive of the artist's work. Tickets for the screenings are currently available through the Regal mobile app and the company’s website.
