The integration, delivered via the Adobe for Slack MCP app, aims to embed professional creative workflows into the messaging environment where most collaborative work happens. Users can pull assets directly from Creative Cloud libraries or previous campaign materials into a thread, transforming chat summaries into PDFs, images, or videos. Adobe designed the system to interpret conversational context, enabling the bot to execute tasks based on the project history already present in Slack channels or Canvas documents.

Adobe brings its Creative Cloud suite directly into Slack
Adobe is integrating over 70 of its creative tools into Slack, allowing users to summon services like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Firefly through the platform’s AI chatbot. By leveraging Slackbot, teams can now generate assets, edit files, and convert conversation context into visual media without switching windows.

This functionality is currently exclusive to Slack Business+ and Enterprise+ subscribers. The move follows Adobe’s recent push to distribute its capabilities across third-party platforms, including a similar integration for ChatGPT, with plans to support Google Gemini in the near future. Deepti Pradeep, Senior Director for Agentic AI at Adobe, noted that the strategy shifts focus from isolated manual edits to high-level outcomes. By automating repeatable workflows like batch-resizing or format conversion, the company intends to minimize the friction of toggling between creative software and communication hubs.
