Global Gaming Women Marks Decade Milestone at 2026 G2E Expo

Siobhan Lane, GGW president and board chair, stated that the organization is focused on delivering programming that deepens connections and accelerates professional development across the sector. The schedule begins Sept. 27 with the invite-only Day Zero Party at Resorts World Las Vegas, which honors the latest class of 10 Women Rising in Gaming.

Educational and social programming occupies the Venetian Expo throughout the week, including the first G2E appearance of the Link and L.E.A.R.N. series on Sept. 29. On Sept. 30, the Sip & Social event at the Venetian Ballroom will feature a keynote by motivational speaker Elizabeth Smart, focusing on resilience and reclaiming personal narratives.

Beyond networking, the organization will participate in the formal recognition of its own leadership. GGW Advisory Board member Holly Gagnon will be inducted into the American Gaming Association’s Gaming Hall of Fame on Sept. 29. The week concludes with the organization’s flagship fundraiser, Kick Up Your Heels, hosted at Intrigue at Wynn Las Vegas on Sept. 30, where the 2026 Patty Becker Pay It Forward awards will be presented. Throughout the expo, GGW is also sponsoring panels on leadership sustainability and salary negotiation for conference pass holders.
