Digital Promise and QuantHub Partner to Modernize K-12 Career Training

The modern workforce is shifting at a rapid pace, as data from The Burning Glass Institute shows that 30% of core workplace skills have evolved over the last decade. While traditional K-12 education often focuses on basic literacy or tech-specific roles, this new program targets a broader demographic, including students entering healthcare, skilled trades, and entrepreneurship. By embedding AI, data science, and cybersecurity training into existing curricula, the initiative ensures that students graduate with market-value credentials recognized by employers.

Digital Promise CEO Jean-Claude Brizard emphasized that the goal is systemic access rather than isolated training. QuantHub CEO Joshua Jones added that the challenge lies in scaling these competencies by training teachers to integrate them into current courses. The partnership builds on the existing Cybersecurity Pathways Initiative, which currently serves 35,000 students in Alabama, and utilizes QuantHub’s established platform to provide stackable credentials. The organizations plan to host a LinkedIn Live event on September 15, 2026, to discuss the implementation of these workforce-ready learning models.
