Circular unveils Ring 3 smart series with NFC payments
Smart ring manufacturer Circular has introduced its Ring 3 series, splitting the lineup into a feature-heavy Pro model and a streamlined Slim version. Both devices incorporate NFC chips for contactless payments and haptic vibration motors, signaling a strategic shift to compete with recent hardware releases from Oura and RingConn.
Circular CEO Amaury Kosman noted that the Slim model addresses user demand for a less intrusive device that preserves essential functionality. Both iterations are constructed from titanium steel, maintain 50-meter water resistance, and support wireless charging. While the company confirmed the hardware will arrive in sizes 6 through 14 across four colorways, specific pricing and preorder windows remain unannounced, with a target market entry set for early 2027.
