The project utilizes Roman Stone’s modular, factory-produced components to bypass the limitations of traditional cast-in-place concrete methods. Each 10-foot section of the system features proprietary alignment cones and a Zip Pin connection mechanism, enabling installation in under two minutes. This approach aims to reduce on-site labor requirements and mitigate weather-related construction delays common in large-scale utility projects.

Daniel Murray, President and CEO of Roman Stone, noted that this contract highlights the industry’s shift toward infrastructure solutions that prioritize speed without compromising structural consistency. By manufacturing at or near the job site, the company intends to streamline logistics for the Canton build. With over 120 years of experience, Roman Stone continues to position its precast technology as a standard for data centers, utility corridors, and telecommunications networks across the United States.
