The company’s 2025 sustainability report highlights a shift toward circular operations, with recycled water accounting for 78% of total volumes sold, up from 61% the previous year. This growth is underpinned by strategic infrastructure investments, including the development of Texas's first produced water lithium extraction facility and expanded reuse pilots within the Permian Basin.
Operational performance metrics exceeded requirements tied to the company's sustainability-linked credit facility. Specifically, Select surpassed its recycled produced water targets by 17% and recorded a 51% outperformance in safety metrics. While the company achieved a 7% reduction in combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions, leadership noted that infrastructure expansion necessitated a slight increase in Scope 2 emissions related to the electrification of new water facilities.
