Minisforum Debuts Ryzen AI MAX+ PRO 495 Edge Solutions at IFA 2026
At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Minisforum unveiled two hardware platforms designed to bring high-performance artificial intelligence to local edge environments. Powered by the AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ PRO 495 processor, the new MS-S1 MAX-P495 workstation and N5 MAX-P495 NAS aim to decentralize AI infrastructure by keeping heavy compute and data storage on-premises.

Minisforum has segmented the two devices to cover different architectural needs. The MS-S1 MAX-P495 functions as a compact compute frontend for latency-sensitive applications like computer vision and generative AI workflows. Conversely, the N5 MAX-P495 acts as an AI-focused backend, providing up to 200TB of local storage. This configuration allows users to maintain persistent AI agents, RAG knowledge bases, and private databases without relying on external servers. Attendees at IFA Berlin can view the hardware in Hall 6.2-104 through September 8.
