Sunseeker unveiled five 2027 LiDAR-equipped robotic mowers at IFA 2026, marking a strategic transition from standalone yard tools to a unified AI ecosystem. The new product range, featuring the S7, S5, and S3 series, integrates autonomous navigation with a 3D semantic mapping platform designed to automate complex outdoor maintenance tasks.

Beyond hardware, Sunseeker introduced its Smart Garden ecosystem, which connects irrigation, soil sensors, and robotic units into a single intelligence network. Powered by MapOS, the system creates a 3D semantic representation of the property, enabling users to define no-go zones and lawn boundaries via real-scene visualization. The technology is designed to analyze lawn health—distinguishing between drought and pest-related issues—and provide automated maintenance recommendations. During the event, Sunseeker outlined a roadmap toward Level 5 supervised autonomy, a shift supported by collaborative research with Humboldt University’s Prof. Dr. Alan Akbik.
