Nordstrom Rack Debuts New 27,000-Square-Foot Store in Plymouth

Crowds gathered in Plymouth, Massachusetts, this week to mark the opening of a new 27,000-square-foot Nordstrom Rack at the Colony Place shopping center. The ground-up facility, completed in under a year, serves as a strategic expansion for the retail destination just in time for the busy Labor Day weekend.

The project represents a collaborative effort between DLC, Renovo Construction, and NWS Architects, who managed the development from the initial breaking of ground in November 2025. By utilizing previously unused land within the center, the development team bypassed the limitations of existing footprints, creating a custom space tailored to the retailer's requirements.

Adam Ifshin, CEO of DLC, noted that the store strengthens the center’s regional appeal while validating the firm's integrated owner-operator model. According to Peyton Thomas of Renovo Construction, the tight timeline was met through disciplined communication among the design, construction, and ownership teams, ensuring the store opened on schedule and within budget.
