Rho Adds Credit and Debit Card Processing to Invoicing Platform

New York-based finance platform Rho is expanding its invoicing suite to include credit card, debit card, and Google Pay support. By integrating these payment methods directly into existing invoice workflows, the company aims to eliminate the need for separate merchant accounts or redundant financial dashboards for its business users.

The new functionality allows clients to settle invoices with a few clicks, with payments processed through Stripe. Businesses issuing these invoices will incur a fee of 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction, which is deducted before funds are deposited into the company's Rho account. While ACH and wire transfers remain free, the card option provides a faster alternative for clients, provided they stay within the default $10,000 daily transaction limit.

Operational efficiency is a core focus of the update, as invoices sync automatically with QuickBooks Online to maintain accurate accounts receivable records. Because the feature is integrated into the primary banking platform, businesses avoid the complexity of managing additional software or login credentials. The service is currently available to eligible customers for USD-denominated invoices, subject to a verification process and third-party underwriting.
