Pudu Robotics’ D7 Semi-humanoid Robot Wins IFA Innovation Award

The IFA Innovation Awards jury selected the D7 based on its functional versatility and the tangible value it brings to commercial spaces. Standing at up to 2 meters tall with a 20 kg payload capacity, the robot is engineered to operate in human-centric settings, from warehouse inventory management to front-desk hospitality roles. Its dual-arm system and 360-degree perception allow it to navigate obstacles while performing precise tasks, such as item picking or beverage service.

Beyond its mechanical reach, the D7 features autonomous battery swapping to maintain uptime during extended shifts. During its European debut at IFA 2026, the unit demonstrated its human-robot interaction capabilities, including gesture-based communication. This award marks a strategic pivot for Pudu Robotics, as the company moves beyond traditional service and cleaning hardware into the sector of embodied intelligent robotics, building on a global footprint of over 130,000 units deployed across 85 countries.
