Organizers are creating a global digital mural where participants can register their support, effectively turning personal hygiene habits like daily brushing and professional dental visits into a collective advocacy effort. FDI President Assist. Prof. Dr. Nikolai Sharkov noted that with nearly 3.7 billion people currently affected by oral diseases, the movement serves as a direct response to the global lack of access to necessary care. By standardizing the conversation around oral health, the federation intends to bridge the gap between individual actions and structural policy improvements.
