Hankook and Hanon Systems Unite at Automechanika Frankfurt

Under the unified Hankook banner, Hankook & Company and Hanon Systems are showcasing their latest aftermarket portfolios at Automechanika Frankfurt this week. Running September 8–12, the exhibition highlights the group's strategy to integrate high-performance battery technology with advanced thermal management systems for the evolving European automotive market.

This joint appearance marks the second time the companies have aligned their brands following their debut at AAPEX 2025. Hankook & Company is emphasizing its premium battery lineup—specifically AGM, EFB, and MF units—designed to meet the rising demand for start-stop and hybrid vehicle support. Since opening a German subsidiary and a Hamburg logistics hub in 2022, the company has focused on stabilizing its regional supply chain to accommodate the aging vehicle parc.

Hanon Systems is leveraging its "Driven by OE Expertise" initiative to introduce thermal management solutions directly to European partners. With Europe accounting for over 35 percent of the firm’s global revenue, the region remains its most significant market. By aligning their aftermarket operations, the two companies aim to build internal synergies, combining their established distribution networks to capture a larger share of the European parts sector.
