The series brings together Chris Mazzilli, an Emmy-winning producer and owner of Dream Car Restorations, alongside IT executive Greg Lotko and consultant Dave Weber. Rather than treating these vehicles as static museum displays, the team focuses on the thrill of the chase and the mechanics of restoration, whether returning a car to factory specifications or modernizing it with period-correct "day two" modifications. The production features exclusive footage from major venues, including Mecum Auctions, and highlights the personal stories behind the collectors who have spent millions to preserve these pieces of American culture.

To mark the upcoming premiere, the producers will host a showcase on September 30 at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. The event will feature six of the show's most valuable finds, including a 1965 Shelby GT350 valued at $1.5 million and a 1969 Ford Mustang BOSS 429 worth $1.1 million. Actor and comedian Adam Ferrera is slated to host a Q&A with the production team, as the creators finalize distribution deals for the series.
