Tsuchiya Holdings Losses Deepen to 1.16 Billion Yen

Tsuchiya Holdings reported a net loss of 1.16 billion yen for the nine-month period ending July 31, widening from the 1.04 billion yen loss recorded during the same interval a year prior. The Japanese construction firm’s latest financial statement underscores a persistent struggle to curb mounting operational deficits.

Revenue for the period climbed to 19.58 billion yen, up from 18.43 billion yen in the previous year. Despite this growth in top-line figures, profitability remains elusive. The company posted an operating loss of 1.71 billion yen, deteriorating from the 1.32 billion yen loss seen in 2025. Pretax losses followed a similar trajectory, reaching 1.65 billion yen compared to 1.30 billion yen a year ago. These results, calculated under Japanese accounting standards, translate to a loss per share of 45.15 yen, an increase from 41.09 yen in the prior year.
