Philatron Targets AI Infrastructure Demand at Data Center World Power 2026

As AI clusters and high-density computing push electrical grids to their limits, Santa Fe Springs-based manufacturer Philatron Wire & Cable is positioning its domestic production capabilities to solve a critical bottleneck. The company plans to showcase specialized, high-amperage power cabling at the upcoming Data Center World Power conference in Dallas.

Philatron Targets AI Infrastructure Demand at Data Center World Power 2026

The September 21–23 event at the Gaylord Texan Resort gathers hyperscalers and utility providers to address the aggressive power requirements of next-generation digital infrastructure. Philatron, a veteran-owned manufacturer, argues that cable must transition from a commodity product to a core component of mission-critical architecture as AI-driven power density increases.

Phil Ramos Jr., CEO of Philatron, emphasizes that the industry’s rapid expansion is often stalled by supply chain delays. By leveraging a vertically integrated U.S. manufacturing model, the company aims to offer rapid-turnaround production for specialized electrical needs, including extra-flexible copper configurations and cabling designed to withstand elevated temperatures. According to VP of Sales Tammy Ashton, the firm’s strategy focuses on minimizing lead times while maintaining the precision necessary for high-performance computing environments. Attendees at Booth #110 will be able to review these custom, domestically produced solutions aimed at streamlining the deployment of large-scale data facilities.
