Grupa Kety Shares Surge 10% Following 645 Million Euro Acquisition

Shares in Polish aluminum manufacturer Grupa Kety climbed 9.9% to 1,266 zloty on Tuesday, securing the top spot among Stoxx 600 risers. The rally follows the company's announcement of a 645 million euro deal to acquire Fengari Holdings, a strategic move intended to accelerate its international expansion.

The acquisition of Fengari, which owns the aluminum profile manufacturer Metra Group, is set to be financed through a combination of existing cash reserves and bank loans. Management confirmed the transaction will not alter the company’s current dividend policy. Fengari is projected to contribute roughly 600 million euros in sales and 90 million euros in adjusted EBITDA for the year.

Chief Executive Roman Przybylski framed the purchase as the beginning of a new chapter for the firm, emphasizing its potential to generate long-term value for stakeholders. With this latest jump, the stock has now gained 39% year-to-date, reflecting strong investor confidence in the company’s growth trajectory.
